ABOUT US
When Rayford Baker founded Baker Paint in 1971, his vision was simple: To provide high-quality painting services and outstanding customer service. He believed that honesty and integrity are the foundations of good business, and these principles remain the core values upon which Baker Paint & Contracting Co., Inc. operates today.
When Baker retired in 1977, two of his trusted employees, Fred Chapman and Grady Green, acquired the business and continued his legacy. By early 1980’s, Baker Paint’s focus shifted to the commercial and industrial sectors. Chapman and Green held strongly to the following core values which are the guiding principles that shape Baker Paint. They define who we are and how we conduct business through our decisions and commitments every day, whether in the office or out on job sites. As Baker continues to grow, these Core Values and Goals will continue to be the framework of our culture and the foundation of our future.
